Thrive is a research based intervention. It is a dynamic, developmental and trauma-sensitive approach to meeting the emotional and social needs of children and young people.
Thrive has been proven to improve behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.
There are four pillars which underpin Thrive: the attachment theory, child development theory, neuroscience, play, creativity and the arts.
Using the Thrive Approach's assessment tool to identify a child’s emotional developmental needs, I create individualised plans to target the support.
I deliver these plans through 1:1 and small groups sessions in school. Working in partnership with the school team and parents/carers, ensuring that each child is supported both at school and home.
