For many children, maths can feel overwhelming. Whether it's remembering number facts, understanding concepts or simply believing they can succeed, I provide patient, personalised support to help children develop confidence alongside mathematical understanding.
I work with primary-aged children and also support students in Years 7 and 8 who would benefit from revisiting key concepts and strengthening their foundations.
Every child learns differently. Sessions are tailored to each child's individual needs and may include support with:
• Number and place value
• Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Times tables
• Fractions, decimals and percentages
• Problem solving
• Mathematical vocabulary
• Developing confidence and reducing maths anxiety
As an experienced teacher and SENCo, I understand that difficulties with maths are often about much more than numbers.
Children with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, autism and other additional needs may require a different pace, practical resources and strategies that build confidence as well as understanding.
My sessions are calm, encouraging and adapted to the way your child learns best, helping them experience success and enjoy learning again.
✔ Primary-aged children
✔ Children with additional needs
✔ Children who have lost confidence in maths
✔ Year 7 and Year 8 pupils needing to strengthen core skills
✔ Home-educated children
Every session is tailored to your child's needs and aims to:
If you're unsure whether your child would benefit from maths support, I'd be happy to have an informal conversation about their needs and how I can help.
